Project Development

Our eTwinning project 'The incredible life of penguins' started in March 2019. Students from Baudilio Arce school  and their partners from Italy, Turkey and Poland have worked very hard on  penguins.

They looked for information about the main characteristics of penguins, habitat, feeding, species, etc,  and made fantastic art projects.

They have prepared some nice presentations and shared the information with their eTwinning  partners. It has been an amazing experience.

Second video-conference with our friends from Turkey. Turkish students have presented their projects on penguins. We  have also shared our presentations with them. We have talked about the main characteristic of penguins, habitat, diet, reproduction, etc. It has been an amazing experience. Take a look at the video below.

Welcome to our new eTwinning blog

'The incredible life of penguins'

Hello everybody and welcome to our new eTwinning blog. 

We are going to work about penguins and their incredible life.🐧🐧🐧🐧

The schools involved in the project are from Italy, Poland, Turkey and Spain.

Our main goal is to learn about penguins and  the enviroment. Oceans are endangered because of different reasons: global warming, illegal activities on the ocean that  include breaking fishing laws, poaching, ignoring marine protected areas, and polluting, etc.

Many animals and plants are in danger of extinction such as some  species of penguins. We are going to study the incredible life of penguis: characteristics and descriptions of some species, the life cycle of a penguin, species in danger and how can we help protect them.

We will cooperate uing ICT resources such as: video-conferencing, email, computers and projectors, tables, video editor programs, inkscape vertorial program, etc. We will improve our English, the ICT and Art & crafts skills, etc. Students will look for information and prepare  ppt presentations to post on the eTwinning blog.They will also make some art projects about penguins by using the scrapbooking technique to display on the eTwinning project corner and the Inkscape program. Finally, they will do video-conferences with their partners from other countries to share the information.
